How do you know this ?
We don't know on here who our targets actually are. Therefore , by definition , we don't know that the other clubs are acting as you suggest. My best guess is that there is no dithering going on , but we are largely restricted by PSR constraints until our new accounting period kicks in. July will soon show what has been going on. I would rather miss out on a target than rush in rashly. I think that our previous experience of those foolhardy tactics should leave enough bad taste in the mouth to last a lifetime , and are responsible for the mess that we have been in.

Absolutely. All the groundwork will be going on as we speak. They certainly won’t be sitting there looking at the calendar and waiting for July 1st to pick up the phone.

I agree. Still early days plus that first window was pointless for us. Next window opens with still a few weeks before players arrive back.
