Hard to say tbh, obviously Toney leaving left a gap to filled but in my opinion he's looked a quality player throughout the good period Brentford have had in the last few years.

Those numbers playing on the wing are very impressive.

Thomas frank factor, he got 6 goals in 29 games out of Maupay ! on loan from us in the league, plus 2 in 2 in the fa cup.

Mbeumo was good value last pre-season, not this, vault me

Agree for a club like us a player like Mbuemo wouldn't represent good value and would be a big gamble.

I just remain amazed that Mbuemo is only 25. I'd have sworn he's at least 30.

He also got 8 in his first 9 games of the season.
12 in the following 31 games is still good but its not as cut and dry that he will do that wherever he moves (5 of his 20 goals were penaltys)., in context if Beto scored 5 pens last season that would take him to 14 goals.

I can’t agree. We need to utilise joint ownership rules whilst they are there. Easy ways to get round FFP.
