Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I reckon people generally think he's older than he is because of how bald he is.

70 mil is indeed a big number but 25 years old, 20 goals and 7 assists in the league last season. Can imagine the kind of numbers we would be expecting for a player who's just had a season like that.
Thomas frank factor, he got 6 goals in 29 games out of Maupay ! on loan from us in the league, plus 2 in 2 in the fa cup.

Mbeumo was good value last pre-season, not this, vault me :)

Because people in this fanbase are terrified of letting the past go. Players like this are a weird rubbish comfort blanket, the unknown scares people much more than the mediocre crap they have become used to.
100%, fully agree, and put it more eloquently than me.

What is also weird is some are happy to wave him off and replace him with Ben Mee or any other mid 30 central defender. It`s a squad game, have 4 good central defenders, 2 right footed and 2 left footed. Surely if the drop off is less or non existent when our 1st choice CBs are missing surely we will go further in all competitions.

2 good players in every position....

We need to sign on average one player per week to be competitive next season.

NURSE!
We will bring in a few loan players which will be closer to the end of the window. Besides I am less concerned as our starting eleven have stayed (if Gueye stays and Alcarez is the ready made replacement of Doucs).

This is the 1st season he hit double figures in the PL, upward trajectory or his peak season?

That is why we need rotation, something as Evertonians we are not used to but I believe that Branthwaite and Tarky playing every minute of every game massively contributed to their injuries.

But tarks played 33 in the PL last season and branthwaite played 30 (would of been more but dyche loves his baby boy keane)

Thats excellent for your starting cbs.

I mean rotation in the cups when playing lesser opposition is fine but i dont think anyone rotates their starting cb partnership unless forced too in the PL.

if he still looked like this no one would bat an eyelid at the price. he’d of probably been at United years ago

Lets wait and see.
Conte was a fantastic coup, as was mourinho & postocolgu, all done great previously
Mbuemo is pretty good, hes never been outstanding against us but got alot of goals last year.
But again.....Maddison, Richarlison, Johnson, Solanke

All good players in there own right and added good moments for spurs, but not 'changed the game'

Lets wait and see

Fair enough mate it’s all about opinions isn’t it. To be honest Spurs in their current iteration remind me a lot of us in the Moshiri years. They’re constantly chopping and changing managers who all have different styles, spending massive money on mid table players etc. only difference is they managed to spawn a trophy during this period.
I think Levy is far superior to Mosh man . They have been scatter gun but they've had a final or two but that trophy is the next step
