Are there similarities between Grealish and Pienaar in the way they play? If so I can see why Moyes would be keen to bring him in.
On loan, no brainer.

I think at City he has also adapted his game a lot to shield the ball and draw fouls in key areas for dangerous set pieces. Imagine our CBs constantly bombarding the opposition box most of the game. Probably a similar correlation to Pienaars first season and the increased goal tally of Lescott and Yobo.

Grealish is an upgrade at possibly two positions we need the least.

We saw how Ndiaye struggled on the right this season. He needs to be on the left.

We saw how Alcaraz looks better centrally, he needs to be in the 10 spot.

Ive been posting about him for 2 years. He moved for a bargain fee last summer though we should still be able to get both him and Diarra for under £40mil.

Im not fussed on the AFCON as 'big picture' we're building for the long term (hopefully).

He’s around 100x better than Mkyo at going foward.

We’re hamstrung because of our full backs.

Moyes has already played McNeil right wing a few times, he might do that with Grealish on the left and move Ndiaye centrally.

Ultimately, we need options so there’s no point crying about where Jack Grealish could potentially play.

We can do the thing Chelsea used to do where Robben and Duff would switch flanks throughout the match.

Not all about free agents say if got kwp at rb who i think is a good option for the team with obrien most likely starting. I want a lb to come in and fight have aomething different. I have questions on Regulion being a lb who can take us forward

I’d like us to look at KWP too.

I think we need to be sensible in the market and utilise as many free transfers and loans as we can. Whatever funds are available need to on strengthening the attack.

On another note, it’s going to be difficult given our squad depth but Chermiti and Patterson could really do with loan moves away so they can actually play regularly

Patterson’s gone way past a loan move, needs to play or be sold. You only loan players as a way to get rid of them or for the future, and he’s deffo not the latter.

Grealish gives the midfield and strikers plenty of time to get forward, he can hold it up and go past players.
I don’t see us signing anyone close to him this window in terms of ability, which is why I think he’s out of our reach.
