It's a shame Rod Fanni has retired.

I used to really want fanni but as I've moved into middle age I'm finding I'm thinking about fanni a lot less

I’d be happy for us to sell but would want a good chunk more from a PL rival than from say a Serie A team.

Would really annoy me if we sold him, especially to a rival. Would mich rather keep him and punt Calvert-Lewin, on the basis that we need to sign a no.1 striker regardless. As a no 2. Beto scores, Calvert-Lewin does not.

Strikers should score goals. It really is that simple.

Personally I think the simplest translation if I were him. Chelsea and United stay aways, Newcastle and Villa likely the best choices if they move on from their strikers. If that doesn't happen us the best alternative.

You have to factor in money as well. United would pay 2x, at least, plus his image would rise a lot more (meaning better sponsorship deals). We might wsell be talking 10+ million per year difference.
