Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

….they can certainly flatter. I have no idea how good the source is but we have finally got a new recruitment regime and if Brighton are also keen then it’s an encouraging link.

It would also suggest RB is a priority position.
There is a fairly decent crop of younger Greek players coming into football atm, its seen a country too keep an eye on. Agree on the youtube video take but he looks a fairly productive player based on that and if he is flagging on the mythical Brighton algorithm then it can only be a good thing.

I can make the word vagina out of his surname, so for that reason alone I'm all in on this player.
Georgiossss, Georgiossss, he sounds like a fanny and he plays for EFC, Georgiossss

Maybe we could get Barry Gibb to open the new stadium for us and open up with a rendition for our new full back of “Right Beaver, Right Beaverrrrr…he knows how to show it” 🎤

Rather than us recruiting Davey Weir, our best bet would be to embark on corporate espionage, leave him exactly where he is and deposit money into his wife’s bank account every time he told us who their algorithm was flagging up.

If PSR is still a issue to us, I dont think it is a right window to buy the Striker. Of course, if we can get Delap, it would be really surprised for me.
I think the rebuild will start from the back.
1. Can play either LB or RB like kwp
2. A Cb which can cover LB, prefer free transfer or a low fee young player.
3. Top class talented Midfielder like Fellani can be dominted in Mid and even go upfront in the front
4. Top class right Mid which can score like Cherki
5. Fast paced winger for counter attack

We need quality first rather than signing who need time to be ready. The squad player should sign for low fee or free transfer.

Massively disagree problem with this teams is goals the defence stats have been up near the top of the table while the attacking stats of goals evt near the bottom. Striker and out wide bringing in goals has to be top of the list

….a really good striker acquisition would hopefully turn draws into wins but creativity is a huge issue. We played our ‘footballers’ on Saturday and hardly created a chance (worst XG stats if any team playing Ipswich this season).

Creativity is also dependent on much better FBs than we’ve had to put up with for many seasons.
