Just saw that Toyota will be affected by this tariff business. Any knock on effect on us in the transfer market? That would be so "Everton, that."

No because of PSR, it doesn't matter how much money your owners have, its about how much money the club makes on its own, that affects what you can spend in the transfer market.

The only thing it could affect is if TFG want to invest in big projects, that are not affected by PSR, like investing in turning Goodison into a womens team stadium and buying Nelson dock and building an indoor arena.

Should we take a punt Jamie Vardy or is he too old?

He's 38, I think we need to look at younger players, he has had 7 goals and 3 assists in a struggling team, I dont see where he fits for us. He is on a free at the end of the season, I think if he has the option he will resign with Leicester again and play regularly in the championship. He could play for one of the 3 promoted teams, but I think he will want to be the first choice striker, I dont see a world where he comes to us and is one of three strikers and fights for a place.

They will just add a really good buy-back clause in for him, bit different selling to us and Chersea imo.

£30 mill or so I recon he would be cating too....only see that kind of deal IF they paid up for Branthwaite.

Again with the success of players like Rogers & McAtee, other clubs will have there ears to the ground
Villa, Newcastle, Spurs could all be in the market for that type of player, young & English is usually a good investment too.

Friedkin only sells them and as far as I know Toyota have a plant in USA. Of course every car will get pricier because there are no cars made in USA that are not mostly made of imported parts but that hits everyone. So car sales in general will probably go down but Toyota is not hit any worse than others. Some will be affected mode in fact.

I think it’s more condemning of the players we have in midfield to be honest. Doucoure is athletic and tackles, which should help the midfield out (I say should as he is poor on the ball putting them back under pressure). Our midfield is not strong enough as a unit and not good enough on the ball meaning that he doesn’t want to take doucoure out.

He has been forcing Alcaraz in on the left side prior to Ndiaye returning, and I expect us to sign him, but I also expect that by doing so, Moyes also goes for a stronger/bettter midfielder than what we currently have.

They said that Alcaraz doesn’tike playing on the wing and is frustrated. Moyes doesn’t like him in the 10. Doesn’t sound to me like it will happen tbh. But we will see.

Doesn't sound thay likely a transfer to me. Which would be a travesty as he is young, talented and has huge potential. But, hey, a big grock would be better

If they get a ban before the window opens then no chance I’d think.

Even if it’s something like £30m with a buyback option of £50m for the next 2/3 years then I’d do it.
