Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I think a more submissive character wouldn’t shrunk into his seat and not stood up to him, someone like a McNeil or Keane. Fair play to Patterson for not taking it lying down.

If he had anyone in a position of authority actually present at the club at that time I think he would’ve been gone on gross misconduct.
That's very true...He's Scottish mate.

Got a few Scottish mates and if some English Ginger gammon slapped them round the head there'd be hell to pay.

Very obvious solution to us needing two strikers if we assume DCL goes, Broja leaves and we send Chermiti on loan (lad badly needs to play regular first team footy next season).

Loan with an option or a permanent deal for a knock down fee would be sound business, still only 27, stylistically not completely different to Beto. Bring him in add a younger striker with a lot of upside and we'd have three players pushing each other up front and genuine options (still like to see us go all in for Delap - wouldn't mind Ferguson still either though).

The solution is he signs for AC Milan where he’s helped them win a trophy, less than 5 goals isn’t exactly promising given his position, he scored two against Roma to knock them out of that cup too - doubt he’s exactly favoured there.

Guess the caveat is he's only actually played around 900 minutes in the league though. Been lethal in the cups though, 6 across the Italian cup and CL games in less than 500 minutes.

Abraham on loan to take up brojas slot wouldn't be a bad idea, gives us a body with a bit of talent but wouldn't be the main man behind beto...

Yup and those 22 appearances totalled 922 minutes, so basically two goals and two assists over the equivalent of around ten full games.

DCL btw 3 goals 1 assist in 1600 minutes.
So, they are both overpaid and when we have neither of them next season that will be good?
