This is impossible. You need at least 8 homegrown players, and you’re never going to build a 25 man squad with 8 foreign players registered for at least three years before their 18th birthday.

I would look at Callum Doyle who was on loan at Norwich from Man City. Highly rated who can play left back and centre back.



Played 40 apps for Norwich and only 21 who has played for Leicester, Sunderland and Coventry on loan so he might be looking to move permanently.

City might just cut their ties because he faces a uphill battle breaking into their first team plus he has been left out of their World Club Cup squad and England Under 21s.

Hopefully James Smith being brought in could help grease the wheel on this deal.

You can state that like it's a fact and believe it if you want but it isn't what is written. That's just you filling in the blanks. It's equally as possible that he's heard absolutely nothing and is just stating the same fact we all know.

If he had actual info about their contract situations wouldn't his article be about that? Why would he bury new information at the bottom of an article about Thierno Barry. He wouldn't, he'd write a lovely new article or perhaps even two about DCL and Keane.
