Frenk
Player Valuation: £35m
We need more than 4.4 quality additions would push this team up the table.
Can’t help but feel we will sell Branthwaite though if the right amount is offered, so if we do we will bring another CB in as well as a RB.

I'm inclined to agree, although I don't think DCL will stay. Doak and McAtee are both high potential players, I especially rate what I've seen of McAtee. They will probably set us back around £50-60m total for the pair I'd say. Long term it would be worthwhile, but this summer we would have to be very smart with the rest of our signings.Think that the consideration mate, personally id go and invest a decent amounts of money in 3/4 players who have a huge ceiling who are going to be here for the next 10 years and we can walk away.
In the same way we went out and spent the guts of 30 mill on Pickford, absolute value given his development, performances and longevity.
Personally hoping Dom and Keane sign on to help with the above i.e. dilution/compromising of resources.
With all the change in ownership, management, coaching staff, CEO, trying to replace a DoF or move to a different model and just the general madness of the football industry itself as well as the inherited Everton chaos, it’s very possible that there is as yet, no real plan.I can’t see anyone else being signed or announced until after PSR period closes (whenever that is)
I’d imagine next news we’ll hear is about leavers.
Last season highlights for Doak and just 2 crosses at height to create headed chances. Compare that with Fellows - great crosser of the ball and two footed and a lot cheaper. Doak seems a bit of a one trick pony - beat the defender, get to the goal-line and cut the ball back. Great if you play attacking MFs who arrive in the box and can strike a ball well - but that's not us at all. Doesn't seem to suit our style in any way.
He's got pace and can beat a man but very one footed. No Premiership experience and a poor injury record.
Giving the RS a pile of our transfer fund goes against the grain anyway and this signing seems full of risk.
Absolutely spot on.Doak reminds me of Dan James...

DCL would love those crosses. One of his main strengths is hes two footed.
Think that getting to the byline and being able to cut it back is literally the best way to score goals in the PL. Weve just never had anyone fast enough to do it.
All of our winger want to cut inside and our fullbacks dont overlap. Think we'll see that change under moyes.
Hope so. Man cannot cross a football. ShockingActually wouldn't be all that surprised if Myko was sold mate.
Not saying he will be - but we need to offer him a new deal or move him on this window.
The defensive stats when Pickford Branthwaite Tarkowski Mykolenko play together are very good. I didn’t realise they were that good but apparently it’s been one of the best defences in the league since September. I know people are desperate for Leighton Baines reincarnated and Everton to attack solely through a flying left back but I wouldn’t be surprised if Moyes sees Mykolenko as first choice and concentrates funds on a right back and a utility full back to cover.

He's plop Mick.Since Moyes has come in his crossing has improved massively and he’s been over lapping loads.
Almost like previous pragmatic managers were holding him back![]()

If we bought on June 1st and the 24/25 accounts ended June 30th then we would charge amortisation of £3m/12 = £250,000 for 24/25.I may be wrong but my understanding was that if, for example, we signed a £9m player on a three year contract that £3m would be booked as expenditure in each of the three PSR periods from that point. So if we signed that player in June 25, £3m in expenditure would be logged for the 24/25 accounting window. Is that not correct?
Do all contracts end on June 30th? I didn't know that.I suspect that if we sign them on a 37 month contract so early by a month only 1/37 finds its way into this years PSR numbers and 12/37ths for next three years
Moyes has done very well... I think we need to see some action in the transfer market though.
Didn`t Everton to go back to pre season training on 4th July last season? We`ve got 2 friendlies here 2 weeks after that before going out to the US, doesn`t give much time to get any signings in amongst it during pre season....
