Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Last season only 6 teams had over 100 million net spend 7 if you count west ham at 98 , Brighton was at the top with over 200 million as they've had the surplus funds from prudent sales and being frugal in the past obviously. I think since we've made profits the last couple of seasons we should have a decent amount to spend, but I'm not financial expert and I'm not going to masquerade as one on here.
What might've helped is that when we did have a fortune to spend, we didn't buy 10 different versions of Michael Keane all of whom either fell apart or we had to give away.
We are now 'frugal' because we have no choice, we buy 20 packets of Fish Fingers from Lidl on the same day we are falling foul of PSR regulations because for years we were allergic to making good decisions and signing good players.
There will be teams in the Peruvian Football Conference who have more money to spend than us, not because we are skint, which we still are, but because they were better run than we are.
Callum Wilson on a 'free' could be our keynote signing this summer.

I think some people have unrealistic expectations about how much we are going to spend.

I think that extends both directions the classic Everton supporter paradox , we're either going to spend nothing which I think is unlikely it will be around 70-100 million Im assuming as that was the regular Roma budget, that we'll spend city money which is also unfeasible in my mind
