He probably would have been an Anzou mk2 and a slow burner

Apparently us, Forest and Como (managed by Fabregas) made offers for this lad. I can see why from this highlight video. Great tackler from the looks of it. Only 21 as well. He'd settle in with Anzou as both are Moroccan. But he'll be playing in AFCON in Dec/Jan so probably won't be moving in the Winter transfer window. So this is me submitting my first post for the Summer Transfer Window 2026 ! Get him in in '26 !

No idea why we were trying to loan another LB, doesn't make sense, especially given the player in question. The lack of a RB is just mad it just seems to go on and on, I refuse to believe there is nobody we couldn't have brought in.

It might be that after having had a look at Aznou in training, Moyes felt he wasn't going to be able to contribute this season?

I think it’s fair to say he’ll have to lower his wage demands! He’s missed the boat with most Prem teams now.

I ve read most of the last 10 pages and for the life of me i cant believe that our lack of strikers hasnt been mentioned. I hope its not our downfall. Garner could be fine at RB. DCL, Chermiti, Broja and even Sherrif have gone. Beto and Barry do not inspire me. Not sure if he s still available but at this stage i d take Vardy!

Maybe if scout him more and decide he is the first choice target i would try in jan still. Gives him more time to come in and be with the squad then really push on next season.

I never understand football economics. Either we're paying him £12m in wages or we're paying city £12m and they pay it to him in wages. Either way we shall be out £12m in 2025/26 which will be on our accounts for PSR. I think!

Yeah, that wasn't my point. I was responding to a comment about whether our wage bill will be reduced or not. I made no comment on whether there is value in the £12m or not, I was simply querying where it would be accounted.
