Not sure I agree with that mate. I think we’ve signed more starters than 2-3. Also, the game has moved on now. We finally have a bench that we can use to change/defend a game. That’s a massive change to last season where we struggled towards the end of games. That’s a really important factor when assessing the purchases.

Let's see, Moyes is conservative. How many will start against Villa? I'd say two. But happy to be wrong.

I should add another reason why I would go as high as a 7-8/10 window is the retention of Branthwaite. That could be the deal of the summer for us both in terms of long-term impact and in how we see ourselves and how others see us.
