It's a bleak prospect but it is one of the biggest issues with PSR. Academy talents are worth so much more as sales than they are as players because they're pure profit. There's been a huge increase in academy players being sold rather than kept around

Next season we have already potentially got a £72m bill to pay with Merlin & Jack. Lots on here saying it won't end up being 50 for Jack but if he has the season we all hope he has then it probably will be 50m. Why would City take less?
I'm sure the 72 is spread about over several windows but it's certainly something to remember as without sales, our spending will have to be curtailed somewhat next summer.

Think about that next season maybe more sponsorship deals also whats to say wont get offers for players like mcneil maybe 10-15, beto 20/30. What postion we finish in the league ect is loads of stuff and the increased money from the stadium. Would just enjoy this season and then see what happens in the summer as wont be such a squad turnover as this season
