Haven’t brought in pace. Haven’t brought in a reliable defender. Haven’t brought in a reliable goal scorer. Haven’t brought in a natural replacement or actually a natural partner for Gana.

Looks unlikely we will at this point but let’s see. It’s a 6/10 for me so far.

I get what you mean its been a bit of a Hollywood window. Not unlike the Koeman #10's, we ve been ignoring the gaping holes and stockpiling in certain areas. Also I can't imagine Dibling too happy going from 33 games a season to a handful of subs-on and cup games, nor Garner being thrilled to be playing FB all year when our paper options get injured.
Though sometimes I guess its not that you need a gap filling as much as getting an upgrade on what you have already.

100% agree re pace.

Dont think we had the wedge for anything better than Barry up front.

A couple of young additions for the u18s /21s would have been nice.

Serious point. A reliable goal scorer would cost a fortune though is that feasible ?

We haven’t bought pace I agree but there was far too much to fix in one window so I’m wondering if your expectations are too high perhaps ?

I think we have done a lot especially in the forward areas

Rangers look like they`re a pub team the way they`re playing at the moment.

We did sign a couple of players for the u18s.

Gokah from Charlton is a centre back and in the England u17s squad.

Cant remember the other one.

I’m not sure we have the money for a “reliable goal scorer” this season. United got one for over 65m and he took 10th pen vs Grimsby

If Moyes forces through Soucek he has too much power.

That's what it boils down to for me. I also think it would highlight issues with the recruitment structure if it's allowed to go ahead.
