But they signed him based on the evidence of him playing centre back. That's literally what I'm saying. Playing him at RB was the move that was not backed by evidence. It panned out but that was the risk. He's doing a decent enough job there but he's definitely not a full back, his crossing isn't good enough and he sometimes gets caught out of position. That's not a criticism of JOB, he's being asked to play out of position, but it is a reason to sign an actual full back and to play them.

I agree with that. We will have to wait and see if he is better at centre back than Michael Keane. He hasn't looked convincing at centre back when I have seen him.

When will ppl just realise, its not Fifa / CM...and 30 year old are not finished.

Its not that hes finished its more he hasnt started.

He can't run.

His passing is poor.

He can't dribble.

Not sure what he is meant to say about him said looked a talent when first come here. And is a work in progress can only see a problem if the lad has a poor attitude in training. He will get game time this season, moyes most likely didnt want to throw him into the first 11 to early and prob would have played in the cup game if fit

He's played Garner at LB rather than deputising Mykolenko with Aznou.

That tells me everything.
