Uniteds strategy this summer seems to be to tell the footballing world all these players are not good enough for the 16th placed team last season, while simultaneously asking for like 50m for these players.

Wouldn't be shocked seeing how well Garner has done at left back knowing he can do the same at right back means the urgency isn't so bad. He is our new Alan Harper.

We’re not going to be using 3 keepers though are we. Seamus Coleman also doesn’t count as a player because he can’t physically make it onto the pitch. So really we have a squad of 21 useable footballers, including Nathan Patterson, Chermiti and Tyler Onyango. We certainly do need more players I don’t think it’s really up for debate.

Coleman will play tonight.

He's a decent enough player Con , big presence in the box and scores important goals , but he doesn't look mobile enough for the Doucoure role.

We obviously need more players but we coped with the same numbers last season. Of outfield players we used last season we lost DCL, doucoure, young, Lindstrom, Harrison and broja. But we have gained Grealish, Dibling, Barry, aznou and kdh. I expect 1 or 2 more this week so I don't think it's a disaster numbers wise. I think they'll use JOB and Garner right back if we don't get anyone in. None of it's ideal but everything is headed the right way. No point asking for patience on here but I think it's been a good window
