I think if aznou is fit and has a couple months to get up to speed he'll be able to contribute this season I don't think he's that far behind. Remember how out of sorts myko was when first played, hes not top tier but he's serviceable. Aznou just needs some time not a season though

I dont think Moyes plays him that much that's the problem . He looked way off against Roma . Ye mykolenko isn't much better lol

Exactly my point. If we’ve had months and haven’t, where does the confidence come from we can do it in a week?

Bit like the Dibling one - there comes a point, closer to the window where either clubs lower their price or agree to loan players out because they don't want to keep them (or have to sell them for whatever reason) or else the player themselves doesn't get the offer they've been waiting for and accept one from a team like us who don't have Europe etc.

Remember Yerry Mina? Deadline day signing, but our offer had been on the table, unchanged for weeks. Barca accepted it at the last minute in the absence of other offers, and it's an extreme example but it's an illustration of how it can work.

Stuff always accelerates towards the end of the window - in all honesty, I'm pretty happy that we've only got a couple of deals or so that we really need to do now.

I'll be happy regardless lol but in terms of Everton id say to do well this season and not just scrape on by we need a RB , CM , LB , ST , squad options of a good quality and some pace .

I think without those we will struggle heavily at times.

I’ve been really disappointed with him since he arrived. He’s also better at centre half than RB. Would basically just be a shorter, slower O’Brien.
