Player Valuation: £35m
I'm a believer.Players who signed for us actually mentioned speaking with Moyes as a reason they signed for the club. Whether you want to believe that it's up to you

This is a tad Davek-ish, Zat.I reckon Moyes thought
1: Im an elite manager, players will come
2: Elite stadium players will come
3: Grealish signed so players will come
4: KDH signed so players will come
These are players he's handpicked that dont want to play for him.
Not anymore he isn't, he is yesterdays man fighting to save his International career atm and clubs were hardly lining up to sign him either.Grealish is a pretty elite player and he was more than happy to come and play for him
Don’t think players are the issue. It’s whether you want to pay £ms to agentsSure...triple their wages, and you see how quickly they come, European football or not. Fofana is meant to be in around 20k euros per week...offer him 100k pounds per week and he will be here in no time. Moyes and the recruitment team appears to be living in an alternate reality...
Agreed, but that's the challenge for Everton. We can throw our hands up and say it's not a buyer's market and it's the same for all clubs. But if we do that, we are saying that nothing can change. The only thing I would say is that if you look at the mid-table teams who finished around us it's difficult to see any who've noticeably improved with signings this summer.
I know we have more work to do than most of them in terms of numbers but it doesn't seem to be a buyer's market so far away that level.
I don't mind that approach if we can eventually achieve some sound deals and it's not performative , as financial recklessness towards transfers is what put us in a bind for years.Doesn’t it seem a trend mate, we heard we have money to invest, we heard we have money and are struggling to so end it, but we seem to be balking at spending it quite a bit.
I wonder is Hammond trying to over haggle to show competency in his new role.
As are most of us when it comes down to it. The view from my office cubicle was never top of my list when considering a new jobThey don't care for the surroundings just the bottom line of their bank account.
Today i'd say 90% of good players are cold ruthless self entitled mercenaries with agents to match.
Prime example is that biff Isak at the barcodes.

Because he’s lives 20 minutes down the road, wants to play football because the WC, and he’s still getting 300k a week.Grealish is a pretty elite player and he was more than happy to come and play for him
I feel like the solution to Barry being too young and too raw probably isn't to sign his younger, rawer, understudy.
I actually like the KDH signing, especially in the context of Barry, Aznou, and hopefully Dibling. Fine to have one or two like that at the right price.
But what's the point if Moyes isn't going to play them?
What's hilarious is if the top brass had been firm with Moyes from the start, and properly executed a strategy of building an exciting young core for the future, we could potentially be poaching Glasner sometime soon. As it is he won't look at us twice.
