Pains me to say it, but keeping Dom, selling Beto, and buying a much better starting striker in the 40/50 million range may have been better.

At this point I think Zat is an actual Everton scout, the amount of time he spends finding players we would absolutely never sign lines up perfectly.

It is pretty disheartening that this is not going to be the transformative summer that we had hoped for. I had pretty high hopes and this is not what I expected, but I am beginning to accept it.

Clearly we don't yet have structures in place off the field to push the club forward. The jury is clearly still very much out on the new ownership and the people they have put in charge.
