Sancho did well for Chelsea last season. Sterling had his worst season last season. His next worst season would have seen him top all of our stats last season. Sancho is 25. The same age a 'washed up' Steven Pienaar was when we signed him....
Sancho did so well that Chelsea paid £5m to NOT sign him. Sterling did so well the year before last that Chelsea shipped him out on loan while paying some of his wages, they clearly rated his performance very highly. A shaved bear could've topped our stats last season.

It's irrelevant anyway, we don't have the resources to get these in. Thank God.

I went on deep right back scouting dive (googling rb transfers) and think we should go after Guela Doué.

Get it done Everton. And if anyone has an email id like to submit my resume for evertons recruitment team. The bar isn’t high at the moment

Sterling on 325k a week and Sancho on 250k a week. If they both want to play football in a World Cup year then why not? Chelsea paid Sterling's wages when loaned to arsenal last season. Could be an option to do that. If he thinks he is still worth anything above 200k a week, then so be it. But he has to play to go to the world cup.

Sancho on 250k a week with a reported 20mil transfer fee would be 46mil on a 2 year deal.

I think sterling would accept the same, but thats for us to negotiate.

So 40mil transfer fees and 13 mil a year for each for wages. A European place or a cup win means that is money well spent in my opinion...
These are exactly the signings we need to avoid and we don't win a cup or qualify for europe with both of these.

Those divas would never come here and as you correctly stated even if they did they're no longer effective footballers

Hopefully but until they're in blue this is just wishful thinking. Evidence please we're missing 5 players to be half competitive and are already getting spanked in league games.
Yup, and as I’ve previously said, very frustrating for us as fans. But everything takes time, and this is no exception. Please
Don’t mistake me, I would have loved us to have had everything sorted ready for day one, I really would. For added context - my Dad is genuinely a Leeds fan, you imagine I enjoyed the fatherly gloating? 😂

But it is what it is, and we are where we are. Which is to say, a short way through a very long rebuilding process. All of the passion in the world won’t speed that up. We just have to ride it out. We have no option but to do so. That’s football. That’s business.

When you look at the glaring holes right throughout the team, I do find it baffling that we spent roughly £12 million on a premium loan.

Grealish at £12 million is very much cherry on the cake. But for me, there are much more pressing needs which required that investment.

If we had a strong DoF, I don’t think he’s sanctioning that loan fee, not when you look at our full back options.
The club are likely in discussions with multiple targets and that one just got over the line first. Possibly because Grealish was desperate to get back on the pitch.
