Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

That’s also just based on blind faith though. It’s been 3 weeks since our last bid for Dibling, there’s no indication we are close to going back in for him, and there’s not even been a tenuous link to anyone else in the meantime. I think it’s far more likely we’ve reached the bottom of our very short list personally.
So what are you saying that we're just not going to sign anyone?

Brownhill is so obvious because it’s staring us in the face and he’s a free agent who instantly improves both our starting XI and our squad as it stands currently, you don’t need to be an esteemed super scout to work that one out. But yes Diarra another obvious one, Ndoye at Forest and Ben Doak too.
Ben Doak the rumour is the RS want a buy back clause. Would you be happy if he became a fan favourite only for the RS to buy him back at a lower price than he'd be worth if he did well? How many times have you seen Ndoye? Judging on one game I'm guessing? Brownhill wouldn't of altered yesterday's result either but as a back up I'd live with it

Again, though you are ignoring that for most people the negativity comes from the concept of continually, and inexcusably, falling further behind, as opposed to fearing relegation.

This is a new start. In a new stadium. With new commercial revenue. If we don't move up towards the top half of the table, it would have been an abject failure, no matter how you try to spin it.
This isn’t about spin - it’s about the same people going over board days after the season finished and long before the much talked about July 1st psr break. Now the same people are muttering about relegation AGAIN!

There has to be a little sense displayed above pure emotion/moaning.

Anyway, onwards we go - let’s hope for some excitement

Who cares? Why is that even relevant? It’s not my job to watch these players, it’s the job of our esteemed recruitment team.

I also have no doubt in my mind that Brownhill instead of Iroegbunam would’ve stopped our midfield getting sliced through with absolute ease but ok.
