Indeed. TFG literally have the option of selling both the women's team and Goodison for 100 million pound each, and nobody would be able to say anything after the sale of Chelsea's fixed assets being authorised. Of course, being Everton, we will all convince ourselves that we have to live by non-existent restrictions.

The PSR constraints need to just be chucked. We have hardly spent any money. If we wanted to create wriggle room it's very easy to do. It's a question of whether the will exists.

They have done. Been prominently reported. Probably not for those numbers but for enough of a PSR boost.

I don't want to terrify people either, but I don't think we will be signing 3-4 players either. I don't think the penny has dropped for the CEO/Hammond. We could easily end up dragging Dibling to late in the window and just doing that.
Well the manager said we needed 4/5 in the presser still, so I am sure he is aware we need additions and fast. We have spent money and not addressed the clear weaknesses

Why are you going on about May as if anyone was moaning about recruitment in May? Those of us who were calling it out as recently as late July were getting met with the same responses of “bed wetter” “nobody else has done any business yet” “we’re waiting to secure our top targets”. You’re inventing a straw man with the May shout, nobody was moaning in May.
CBA to look back but it was certainly happening late may and early June.

We should have went and got Camara from Monaco. Prob would have cost 25-30, but an instant upgrade on what we have.

Sadly he's not 27 with years of premier League experience though so no chance Hammond's hear of him.

The only time we’ve looked like we could physically dominate teams was when we had Onana and Doucoure in the same midfield. Every other team probably going back since McCarthy and Barkley were in the same midfield just get ran over and ran around far too easily. We’re slow, weak, and passive for far too many games a season. Our possession stats in games even against poor opposition is absolutely terrible.
