Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Lewis is not physically built for Premier League football, his presence in City’s team last season was a big reason for their downturn. Teams targeted his area of the pitch and physically bullied him, he’d be exposed badly in a team that doesn’t have 70% of the ball every game. Clearly has technical ability but is slow and weak, would suit the Spanish league.
Obviously Pep doesn’t agree with your assessment as he picked him yesterday when he had the choice of other, more expensive/experienced players.

If Southampton valued Dibling at £50mil and we initially offered £27mil.

Now City have turned down Forests £30mil and probably value Lewis at £40mil.

I would expect Moyes to wait a few days and then Hammond to make a bid of £23mil.
JB was valued at 70m, United offered 35m.
Isak is valued at 150m, they offered 105m.
Seth Johnson wanted 30k pw, Leeds offered 62k pw.

People offer what they think is a fair offer/opening bid

How many goals will the blue donuts score ?
I support football not architecture.
New era arrives when and if Everton become Everton again .
Everton are Everton, always have been and always will. We as Everton supporters need to stop squabbling and enjoy the ride. This is a new era for the Toffees. We have already spent c.£90m and will spend more, its been a while since we could do that. Our starting 11 is better tan it was at the end of last year and with a few more late additions I am confident our squad will be too.
I used to love my trips to Goodison with my son even in the relative bad days, win, loose or draw they were all memories I cherish and I cant wait until next Sunday at Hill Dickenson for the first time. What an experience to share with him and all the other Everton fans. This is an occasion we can tell future generations about, we are privileged. There has been massive change in our club over the last few months which didnt help our transfer strategy but patience is key, TFG didnt buy our club to go for broke/win everything in year one, we have waited long enough another dawn is coming and it is going to be great.

I'm struggling with how it's a home football shirt given, so far as I'm aware, there's no Reform football team.

Flipping grifters stooping to new lows.
It also says it's the "Made in Britain Edition". Does that mean there's another edition that isn't made in Britain? Would be somewhat of an own goal if so 🤷

Whatever your politics, Farage is a turboc**t of the highest order.

Anyway, back to wet wipes, soaked sheets and deafening silence on the transfer front 😞

Seems we’re still pushing for Fofana as well as Dibling and we’re waiting on one of those two. If we end up landing one of them, then your have to say fair play to them for not jumping at someone else just to get them in for the start of the season and the wait would have been worth it.

Obviously if neither come off, they’ll come under fire but I personally still wouldn’t be blaming them for not getting someone else in further down the list that they’re not entirely happy with just to get a body in for the start of the season. If there’s enough encouragement that their pursuit of preferred targets will eventually bear fruit, then they’re right to hang on and wait it out IMO.

Much rather have a quality player in for 99.9% of the season, than an average squad filler for three or four games more.
