Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I’m getting a bit fed up of this “wanting premier league experience”.

Schneiderlin, Rooney, Walcott, Bolasie and Ashley Williams had Premier League experience.

He’s got two players for the “hear and now” in Grealish and KDH. Otherwise we should be bringing in younger players on the way up, not quite the finished article, with good resale values in 2-3 years.

I don’t want the club being forced to sell prized assets again next season for a quick fix now. So many other clubs looking in the European leagues. Our scouting department is looking at Hutchinson.

Think it's an absolute joke that with a few days to go we have failed to address RB, RW and a true CDM. Was very excited before the window began but see this as a serious red flag for TFG, was worried when Purdy and Thelwell left that it indicated that the plan and vision was not there and they're giving Moyes too much control in recruitment
It’s a crock of the proverbial shiz, that we still need incoming recruitment for key areas. What’s a bigger crock of shiz, is that the transfer window extends beyond the season start.

The market for players, their prices and who fancies moving where, is totally distorted by the lack of coordination.

The window for buying should close, when the season starts. Anyone operating under the current rules, must know, they have to deal with being in a fool’s market.

To risk throwing points away and buy cheaper at the close, or pay high, get stung by PSR and maybe still lose those points.

My vote would be, get the best possible player, for the cheapest possible price. If we lose a few points waiting, so be it. If we’ve built the best side for the rest of the season and a base to progress at the next window, happy days.

Gray is on the Spurs bench tonight

He'd be ideal for us. Cant see Spurs selling him for anything below £40mil though.

I'm hearing we're looking at strikers, we are still in for Dibling, Mykolenko might be fit for Leeds, Coleman won't be, Patterson has interest in Germany, and Iroegbunam has admirers in the Championship. Ipswich lad is fancied too.

Patterson and Iroegbunam interest for loan or sale?

Season doesn't start till the 2nd of September and good starts to the season are over rated anyway.
