RB was every bit as much as crucial.

And going into the season they remain so - even with the signing of Barry.

I'd head he was out for about 6 weeks. Factor in a few weeks to get up to scratch. Think that's a fair chunk of games.

Not TRYING to be negative but anyone other than me thinking Branthwaite seems a little " fragile" for a CB...Maybe just an unfair comparison to Tarks...hes a workhorse compared to Mina, who I loved when he played

Hamstring is 6 weeks recovery and at least 3 weeks build up thats huge at the start

Yes pulled hamstrings are major and if not managed correctly can re occur and massively limit a players progress. Ask dcl

We have no idea if hes 'long term out' like some are randomly suggesting by the way..

Wouldn't be suprised to see both he & Mykolenko back for Villa on 13 September, which is about 5 weeks from now. Would mean only missing 3 games.
