Repeated folly too. How many seasons have we had this problem on the right?

I mean, Jack Harrison was supposed to be a short term stop gap option and we ended up using him on the right with a near 40 year old right back to cover him for 2 seasons!

There's no way as a recruitment team you shouldn't have option upon option upon option ready to go.

I always think Everton look like they start their transfer scouting on the day the window opens, instead of having things ready and lined up to go

Right back berth frightens me.

We have a solid stand-in with O'Brien. But that's all he is. He's nowhere near the standard of RB we require to do damage to the opposition going the other way. And if he gets injured / suspended...

I think, now that we have Grealish, who wins free kicks all over the place and now two decent dead ball options in Grealish and KDH, O'Brien could be a full time option at RB due to his height. Bit like Lescott.

It's why we've been so maddeningly one dimensional for the past few seasons.

To go into this season without solving this glaring issue will be folly.

Its the excuse culture that feeds the ongoing accountability issues.

I had a day off yesterday while the club were congratulating themselves at having secured Grealish.

Now they need to move fast to secure at least 4 more signings. The most crucial IMO being RB.

The pitch is too small, there is only a left side and a center there is no right side, The club were told multiple times that the pitch was too small but they ploughed ahead.
