Not that he's a bad player but it means the team is in a good place if he's kept out of the side by a better RB or CB.

KDH is probably the easiest transfer in the world of football: Chelsea don't want him, he wants to leave, he's happy to join Everton, seems there isn't competition from other clubs to sign him, Everton and Chelsea have seemingly agreed on a deal which is convenient for both clubs.

Reports state he's doing a medical today.

I expect the club will wait until the Roma game to announce it though, probably embargoed until 10am in the morning and hopefully in the squad having had two days of training behind him.

I suspect the club are briefing the journalist on assignment with the USA tour to get there perspective out. Been happening since the kenwright days so nothing new.

Doesn't help the rest of us unfortunately with regards to transparency.

I think that's part of the problem. They spend so much time faffing around making two minute reveal videos and getting them down to the stadium in a new kit, then an interview.

I'd rather them just say he's signed and it's done. And then they can possibly do all the media stuff nobody really cares for afterwards.

I do think the turnaround for the medicals / announcements has been much quicker this summer
