For me I'd try a £15mil bid fot George and £40mil for Andrey Santos.

As an American I can tell you we aren't missing much. Never understood the link. Ligue 1 is his level at the moment.

Met him once. Was actually quite a nice bloke - which runs counter to my views on the Tory party and most of the other Tories I've met

If a player sees Fulham Football Club as a better career opportunity than Everton then we are clearly doing something very wrong. We’re not even talking about a Villa or a Forest or even a West Ham. We’re talking about a club that is as tinpot as it gets.

Maybe he wasn't just considering his career. Remember, he wasn't at another club and decided to move to Fulham rather than Everton. I've no idea about his personal life but if he is settled in London, maybe has a partner/children or just lots of good friends in the area, That might have swayed his decision.

Perhaps he’s been told to reel in the negativity…. I had set the bar at elite players for an elite stadium without the expectation that it would be a one and done window. I didn’t expect it to feel like more of the same which is probably the most disheartening aspect of it.

I think he probably has. But he's only replaced barley concealed anger with passive aggression as far as I can see.

Id have to very much disagree, would have been a nice addition to the squad. Turning the nose up at a player who had 5 goals for Juve in 10 matches on the wing is such a hip Everton thing to do.
