Rather than keep his thread going, I'll add this note here: Juventus have a friendly with Borussia Dortmund next Sunday, and Douglas Luiz posted a selfie in his Juventus shirt on a flight to Germany.

This doesn't seem like a player headed anywhere imminently. I still doubt Forest are serious contenders since they have a lot of midfield depth and probably less room under PSR than Everton, but I'm less convinced he'll end up here because all three sides (Juventus, agent Kia Joorabchian, and Everton) are pushing for different things.

I think Joorabchian is using Forest to pressure Everton to cough up more money, Juventus wants to make a deal with anyone who will take him on permanently, and Everton are only willing to take him on loan with an option. It's at a standstill, and so he flies to Germany.

Said this before his agent is hawking him round and using our name. We probably have an interest but on our terms at the end of the window.

Pretty certain we get at least 2-3 players in this week tbh. There’s no way TFG will have us opening our shiny new stadium with a threadbare squad, the optics would be terrible for them. Makes a lot more sense to make a few signings this week and get all sorts of adulation at the Roma game on Saturday.

Good thing is there's no way Moyes puts them straight into first team. Pretty disappointing that the first team for first match at BMD will unlikely feature any new signings
