Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

The Esk reposting a very dubious ITK claiming 35 mill for Dibling is done and deals for Luiz and Fofana are still being worked on. Bad times for the esk if that isn’t true and he’s just reposting random blokes making stuff up.
That's not a million miles from what Bobble said. We're close to breakthrough with the Dibling negotiations and are still in for Luiz and Fofana, but both would prefer a move elsewhere to clubs in Europe. As in, European competition.

I’m excited about the Dibling talk. Very talented lad. As others have said, he definitely plays like a young Grealish. I thought he’d have biggers clubs in for him and/or Southampton would want more for him.

Still think we’d need a speedster to come in as well.

For arguments sake and fitness permitting on a scale of 1-10 how we rating lining up like this against Leeds?

Pickford
O'Brien
Tarkowski
Branthwaite
Mykolenko
Garner
Gana
Dibbling
Alcaraz
N'diaye
Beto

***********
Travers
Keane
Patterson
Aznou
Iroegbunam
Armstrong
McNeil
Barry
Chermiti

For me it's a 6 (just) should be solid defensively and be able to pick up some points till the window shuts, but a bit limited off the bench.

I think If we can get a CM in and push Garner down to the bench it raises the score to a 7.

Then your looking at trying to get a couple more attacking players in and maybe a right back before deadline day.

I guess it depends on any business Leeds do but I'd make us good favourites for that one, not that being favourites against Leeds should be the sole goal. But it would be a much stronger line up than beat Newcastle last time out and so a decent starting point.
