Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I think Tyler is very good but I can't help but think £35m is a lot of cash for a lad who had 1 season at first team level.

I look at Tom Fellows and I just see a player who is more suited to our play personality.

I think Fellows gives us a better balance and he would be a hell of a lot cheaper
Right midfielder and not right winger suggests Fellows is best in a 4 man midfield playing as a wide midfielder where in the Premier League it's 3 in midfield with wide forwards which Fellows doesn't seem to fit

People are going on as if it's a ridiculous low ball when Joyce says 35 gets it done. The club are clearly operating with a 35 mil ceiling and aren't just bidding for a laugh. There's gotta be a genuine belief that gets him over the line

Mate this club don’t have a clue what they’re doing and probably are just bidding for a laugh. To make it look like they’re acting urgently after Moyes’ comments.

It’ll be closer to £50m after add ons that they want.

That was today
Ya I posted the link first

Everton have added the Southampton teenager Tyler Dibling to their list of targets as they look to strengthen their options on the flanks (Paul Joyce writes).
The asking price for the 19-year-old could be a stumbling block with Everton’s summer budget needing to be spread accordingly to bring David Moyes’s squad up to strength.

Thats Friday. Google is your friend

Because maybe we now know for sure that the other players won't join us and he possibly will.
None of us know how works .
But my guess would be you have a number of players you would like to sign and you can't get some in you move on.
This is exactly the point though - weeks waiting to be blown out, manager has mini-hissy fit, we then turn to a rw and the world knows we are desperate.

It is all just very amateur

Soz, missed the first link

Spending at least 30m on some random 19 year old with only limited second division experience as presumably our first choice starter at RW is complete lunacy. How can we possibly go from Kubo to this.
I am yet to read anywhere Kubo has said no so I hope we keep trying for him and spend the money on him if necessary. It’s been so long since we’ve had an electric out-and-out RW so I really don’t want some random 19 year old coming in as the solution.
He just spent the entire season in the Premier League.
