Why would I say that? Of course someone like Branthwaite is worth the risk, but we are not talking about players who might come good several years down the line. Unless of course you think our right wing situation is so good we don't actually need anyone there for this season.

We signed Branthwaite in 2020 and he's really only been first team regular for the past two season.

The article by Delaney is a positive read alright... but I'll believe it when I see it. Really can't see us having a budget of £150m either way.

Why? First season at Roma they spent around 120m, only recouped around 15 through sales and that was a squad in a lot healthier a condition than us
