Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

What if he doesent and its just a case of McKenna knows how to get his centre forward to get 10 goals in a season

Ings, Bamford, Calvert Lewin, Solanke

Carlton Morris got 11 PL goals last season, Elijah Adebayo got 10 both in a side worse than Ipswich have been
He is a lot younger to start with and has resale value even if he don’t bag a huge amount of goals. Even if we bought him 30m I’m sure we would recoup a fair amount of that even if he had a poor season. Look at how much championships clubs pay for players now.

Ya some mad shouts in here saying 30m is too much of a gamble on him for one good season in the PL. Is it his first full season in the PL? with a side that's getting relegated. He has another 1 or 2 seasons like that his price will rocket up further
Bowen cost West Ham 22 mil 2020...So if use that as a metric 30 mil for an actual promising talent in The Championship is the going rate.

This is where Fellows is spending the summer, locked in my wardrobe so you lot can't get him!!

So if he got 3 goals for us next season, which is entirely possible, we would recoup £30m based on him getting 12 goals this season & 8 goals the year before with Hull?

Some of those players you mention have been injury prone players for alot of their careers.
30m isn't a huge risk these days and if he didn't do particularly well the next season his price still wouldn't drop off a cliff. If he does do well you have a very good forward for 30m and his price goes up and he's still a young player.
