Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I think that could be the end of Jimmy if we did get Luiz too. I like Garner but he would be suited to the likes of Forest where he did ok on loan or Bournemouth at this stage . If we went big (relatively for us) on CM and then RW say a Kubo then Fellows as cover later on. Sell Patto and Jimmy. Use our loan spots for the other positions and possibly 1/2 on a free (min of 4 loans in this window) Think that woukd be close to our budget with a nice few £££s coming in for those two. Jimmy the more valuable I'd say to make a profit on with a book value around 6M.

Think that would add up to 3 further signings for a transfer fee, 4 loans and 2 on a free (RB & 3rd striker) after Travers . Sell the 2 lads mentioned and send Chermiti and Armstrong on loan plus Tyrer sale/loan . Would give a squad of 23 or 25 if we can use all 6 loan spots with a very decent home grown quota.

Would that be good enough?
That’s a bit Zatlike in its detail but I can’t see Garner going anywhere
I can’t see us selling any of last years first team squad with the exception of Patterson

But if we sign a RB which surely we must do, we will have 3 specialist right backs and two in O’Brien and Garner who can cover.
I’d say calling Patterson a specialist right back is stress point
Coleman will play the first game at BMD and lead the team out and fade back to being a coach over the course of a season

You're right, but I think most people would be expecting to see Patterson move on this summer (assuming we can find a buyer)
