Wonder is there any potential statement signing that would prompt involvement from Friedkin himself. As with Lukaku at Roma.

I hope they stick to their financial parameters but it's a big ego boost to some players if the owner gets involved.

Not sure if Luiz would be considered enough of a statement in that regard, and of course if Friedkin would be paying attention and offering to see what he could do, either.

Maybe that's for a year or two down the line.

Another example of why when they are in the prime they get the big bucks at the height of their powers and go for some of the bigger fees. However, the inherent risks to the clubs that buy them, is that the drop in their performance levels end up decreasing far more rapidly than the club expects. You end up with a player on a very large salary not playing and running out their contract or you cannot shift them for my kind of fee due to their salary demands.

He has I was reliably informed last week. It was Mosh's fav one too. However, the quality that said agent used to push to us was of a far lower quality to Luiz.
