Possibly as he's a tall midfielder that Moyes tends to like. Was underwhelming last season at Southampton mind you
He did struggle! but has only just turned 21 yrs old so its difficult to know what was going on at the saints also remember Alcaraz was rejected by southampton and Gana looked terrible at Villa.

Re-signing an old, broken down right back isn't exactly going forwards, is it?

We'll see in time if we're genuinely moving forwards but, at this precise moment in time, we haven't got a single new player in our squad. We do, however, still have Seamus Coleman and Michael Keane and, had they accepted the offers on the table, we would also still have DCL, Young and Doucoure.

Maybe we'll have a half a dozen blockbuster signings in the next few weeks but the longer we spend trying to convince free agents and our out of contract players to re-sign on reduced terms, the less optimistic I am for that outcome.

i trust moyes totally
it’s not about lashing a billion
all new players is it

it’s a mixture of all

and “new players “and gana will sign this week

we
aren’t going backwards atall
your nuts if you think that

and loads of positive things
are happening of the pitch

we will
now get our players in

let’s see and stop being

negative about the club
