A lot of clubs have had better windows than us for a number of years now.

We are lucky we have us fans and had some managers who know how to organise teams.

People have been called bedwetters for years for daring to suggest our transfer windows have been less than stellar.

Based on recent history you are right. To us older people top seven means we still have a long way to go. It also means the seasons ahead have become finite on a personal level. So we had better hurry up and win something.

I think for us all it has been far too long, and for the younger they have never had any pleasure of seeing us win anything. We all hope this isn’t yet another false dawn.

I don’t know why when the cold hard facts are we have been rubbish in the market.

Why not just admit it?

People will poke fun at us comparing our windows to other teams etc.

Look at Sunderland they’re out there signing young exciting talent from abroad yes it may be a risk but surely we are all bored of our obsession with “Premier League experience”.

How exciting would it be to really see a new era.

Although you’re not allowed to complain because the truth is hard for blues to accept. Like how everyone defended Kenwright for years when the cold hard facts he was terrible for this football club.

I was wondering this myself. We could pay 30m for him, loan him to Roma with an obligation for them to buy for 30m.

I think that’s way more likely than them paying us an inflated fee. They will just see us as an extension of Roma.

I don’t see how their FFP restrictions are going to be eased in future if we’re helping them spend when they can’t afford it now.

Are we guaranteed it’s an obligation too? What if they put it just as an option and he does badly there?

Kyle Walker would’ve been an awful signing and I’m delighted he’s gone to Burnley, I’m excited to see Ndiaye targeting him next season.

Yes, but the new stadium has some bloody great, huge, windows. I’d argue that we now have some of the best windows in the Premier League.
