i think in hindsight we can all agree that we should have signed gallagher and mctominay from chelsea and man utd respectively, we'd been linked with both of them for such a long time before they eventually left their clubs

i think a gallagher, mctominay and gana trio would be better than even macallister, szoboslai and gravenberch and liverpool's midfield is top of the league

who wants him? He's been linked to us under every manager since Benitez. I struggle to believe Rafael, Lampard, Dyche and Moyes have all been desperate to sign him.

Cheers. Think we will be very savvy with our deals as we have quite a fair few spot to fill. So perhaps there's something in this. Given the right price of course

We need two forward players who can carry the ball at pace and stretch the field.

Not interested in other positions until we finally prioritise the attacking positions and the lack of quality in the final third

It came down to the structure of the deals as well, but to be fair, he played a fair amount under Pochettino and went to a Champions league team in Atletico Madrid

The Beto vs DCL style of play thing is a big decision to make which may determine who our other striker targets may be. It is hard on the rest of the team if we vascilate betwen a target man and knockdowns or a fast bustling guy who scores when the ball is on the floor. If DCL leaves our next striker needs to be more like Beto. BTW I think Chermiti could be really good if given a chance. Would Moist go for Beto and Chermiti as his only strikers? assuming Broja goes back.
