Ashley Young is very competent back up.
He was excellent for Inter in their title win.
At 38 he's superior to Mykolenko.
It's not exciting but if he's cheap he's good cover.

Thats embarrassing. They've just sold gyokeres for 20m and we sell them a player with a better goal per minutes in that league for buttons.

Good job we've kept kenwright to negotiate all of these deals for us. God knows where we'd be without his negotiation skills, we may of actually got a decent fee for players.

We must be the only team in existence who lower their valuation on players when the other team has money ffs.

Players are only worth what the buying team is willing to pay. Unfortunately we've spent the last few years willing to pay what the selling team wants and then some. Hence, the mess we're in now, desperately needing forward options and selling anything not bolted down, to scrape enough together to get a couple of forwards.

And if the conclusions based on Toffeenut's posts on here about Young are true, then that shows how stuffed we are financially that we cant afford cover for LB. My god that annoying Esk and his doom mongering seem spot on.
