No problems with the player himself. More the price at 15 mill. Maybe it’s just the inflation in the marketplace but he was the sort of player Moues would have snapped up for next to nothing in the past and now we’re paying out a decent chunk. Same as we did for McNeil. It’s a good thing that we’re now targeting players who are renowned for being workers but I do think the price is on the high side. Maybe that’s the market though.

Id we tried to sell McNeil or Gray for 15 mill to anyone now I’d be shocked if anyone paid that price. That’s for two premier league wingers. We’re looking to pay that for a player now in the championship who wants to leave.

I remember when Jermaine Beckford beat half of Chelsea’s team, running the full length of the pitch.

He is what he is, a grafter and that’s why he’s being considered.

Preferably keep Gray, even though he's not very good, because:
1. We'd have no cover on the wing
2. You need at least 2 additional capable wingers outside of your starting 11
3. I highly doubt anybody is bidding anywhere near 'too good to refuse' money for Gray, for example around £15m.

thing with Gray is probably he wants to play more often but Dyche wants his wingers to track back. That is why he only started as a nr 9 or been on the bench. and he is in the last year of his contract. decent offer i would sell.
