Summer Transfer Window 2019

I see a few players from other clubs have been "released" today following not being sold or loaned on deadline day, wonder if we might do this with some players, basically pay them off and give them a free transfer and then they sign for someone else. This probably wouldn't be worth it for the players with 6 months left, but might be worth considering for those on longer contracts up to 2 years

just means it is absolute dead loss. on the initial fee we paid, say united 25m for sniderfraud, and then having to pay all his wages.

as it stands we might be able to loan him at somepoint for a fee and some wages paid..

or you never know, some muggy club might actually buy him and take his wages on ! (highly unlikely)

I was thinking a ton fifty myself. And even that is selling the likes of Tosun, Walcott, Schneids, Siggy, Bolasie and Keane for less than half what we paid or them.

Siggy and Gana will both go for over £20m, and Keane, Coleman, Walcott, Tosun and Schneiderlin should all bring in £10m or more. Bolasie, Superkev, McCarthy, Niasse and Besic will bring in £5m plus, and we could bring in a few mill for some of our kids too.

God knows what all the write offs would do to our balance sheet and FFP. We'd also need to bring in at least 10 new players, 7/8 of which would need to be quality starters, so that would probably cost about another £100m over and above what we brought in.

The problem we will have is players wanting to leave as some of them are on silly salaries as we know. So a lot of what we bring in for the likes of Schneids, Tosun and Sandro will probably go directly to them to entice them to take a lower wage.

I got to 85m, but that was very hopeful, he included 4 players who I doubt we will even sell, Gana 25m, Iceland 25m, Keane 20m, Coleman 10m, so its possibly, if we somehow pretend reality doesnt exist.

I think you will be surprised come the summer. I can imagine at least a couple of first team players being sold.
