I would have thought that his ability to bomb forward was one of his biggest assets.
I don't think there's any doubt that his final delivery invariably let's him down, but there isn't a full back in the league that has the desire to get forward as he does. Saturday's game was a perfect example, where we saw both the best and worst of Seamus as an attacking full back.
A few months ago, I was all for replacing him as I didn't think I'd see that desire and pace/ability of old. But I'm happy to say I've changed my mind. He'll do for me for at least another season, enabling us to concentrate on other area's such as a goal scoring striker and dynamic midfielder.
