Based on the chatter it’s not unreasonable to suggest:

1. Zaha will end up a deadline day signing with a fee made up of £60m and James McCarthy. He will likely drop a transfer request by tomorrow night.

2. Doucouré will also be a deadline day signing for around £45m after he too pushes his way out.

3. Sidibe will be confirmed tomorrow at the latest.

4. Zouma ain’t coming and the alternative will be a complete curve ball on loan.

It’s going to be an exciting 48 hours

Silva wanting doucoure seems to suggest gbamin is a centre half option.
Sidibe , zaha and doucoure would be a massive last 48 hours..
Dont see doucoure happening though.

Sidibe tomorrow. Zaha and a cb on the deadline day. Can’t see Watford letting Doucouré go they hate us...unless the player hands in a transfer request.

Both Silva and Gbamin are on record saying he was bought to play in midfield. If he ends up playing centre half regularly it will be because something has gone very wrong somewhere.

You have Delph in that ahead of Gomes?
Y, better defender.
Needed with Digne overlapping.
Would have Sig over Gomes too.
Sig is just as good or better than Gomes on the ball and in a box to box role is a better defender.
With Sig and Delph pulling the strings in build up and a DCM holding and covering its sexy football all round.

But the point is we'll have depth. Think Davies comes into the equation as well in a more settled style and formation. 2 injuries and he'll do a job.

Buts its JP and Morgan until a better CDM is found.

The beauty of getting Kean is he offers so much.
He can drop or go. Sig (or Gomes) can drop into his space while Coleman sits with Delph and JP
Or Kean can play Sig through, either by movement or with ball.
It all looks pretty tasty.

Hopefully we've got the right coach for the job.
