Would be my thoughts too.
If i'm honest there's still quite a few of our squad that I want rid of. But a few come with a proviso that a better replacement is bought in. Funes-Mori comes under that category. Only sell if a better version is in his place.

Like who? West Brom, Southampton, Leicester, Burnley, Stoke are the teams in the middle - and they all arguably have better keepers anyway.
I think you are probably right, but if even if we don't sign another wide player, he will be competing with Lookman and in time Bolasie and could find his time on the pitch limited.
I think it is a pity he isn't used as a central striker more, he knows the position well and offers something very different to Lukaku.

I could see Robles at Bournemouth replacing Boruc pretty well.
One of those could easily be sold in the summer, and probably will in all likelihood
Heck, one of the promoted sides would probably spend around 10 Million for Robles

The McCarthy situation is the imponderable.
It seems the manager didn't particularly rate him at first, McCarthy seems to have changed his mind as the season went on.
However, the constant injuries and the rushing back to play for his country before being properly fit may have changed the managers attitude again.
Having two midfielders in Besic and McCarthy who spend more time on the sideline than on the pitch is not satisfactory.

How much money are you expecting us to spend on a third striker option? Why can't one of them be a free transfer experienced consistent goalscorer?
