Summer Transfer Window 2017

yep, totally agree, i'd get rooney just to play as a backup striker who can also play in a top two, the reason he looks goosed at united is because he's too deep and running around aimlessly. He's still calm and collected and gets in good positions in the box, he'd be perfect in a two with lukaku imo, but siggurdson is a genuine attacking midfielder, i'd hope and think we'll buy both tbh.

He's not match fit. Will be a different player with a pre season and regular games.

Just think bagging then two as well as some fresh untested new signings and blooding the academy lads offers a good mix.

You'd only get about 2 top seasons out of the two imo

the best signing we could make this summer will be good boots for all our players, countless times players have slipped and cost us goals this season.

Stekelenberg is just one of quite a few players that either make obvious mistakes, and/or are anonymous in a positive fashion, particularly against high quality opponents.

Nothing to see here, we have had years of it.

Individually and as a squad we are about where we should be in the league.

We need better players, and more of them.

It has been ever thus for 20+ odd years.

We should be trying to nick the best players from all the teams below us in order to consolidate 7th before we worry about signing top players to get into the top 4, we're miles off at the moment and they won't want to join us yet. Chelsea and City both had this over a period of 2-3 years where they signed very good but not world class players, I don't see why anyone expects it'll be any different for us when it's arguably harder now.

The only positive thing about this game was the presence of Moshiri. Perhaps he saw our lack of class compared to Chelsea. The only 3 players that we have that are possibly good enough for Chelsea are Lukaku, Gana and Davies. So, Mr. Moshiri, please, splash the cash if you want us to challenge for top 4. If we don't spend enough this window, we are destined for 7th place at best.

I expect £200 - £300m spend this summer.

It is required if we want the success this club deserves. Should have happened 12 months ago, but no excuses this time.

If Lukaku goes, then add another 100m spend to it.

Fed up of treading water.
