Summer Transfer Window 2017

Will be honest mate, the only two positions/players, i feel are 100% nailed on to be starting for us next season are Davies and Schneiderlin, anyone else's spot is under threat really or could leave.

Part of me still thinks that IF Koeman could get in targets and a replacement he wanted prior, then he'd be perfectly fine with selling Lukaku or Barkley if it would be needed to get someone he really really wanted in

I have a feeling Davies will be rotated more next season. Good talent but not sure he's a permanent starter yet.

True. But they can't do much more than they are doing now to show they might be worth a go.

...RK will have a view on them all and he won't treat the Premier League as a trial matches. Unfortunately, I suspect he will move some on. I notice Charsley has been given a contract, Williams and Kenny look like they will be used. The likes of Feeney and Baningame are young and have impressed. I suppose the big question is over Walsh and Dowell who he's shown no sign of including in match day squads.

It'll be an interesting few months ahead.

A big problem we have is that we badly need CBs and so do City, Liverpool and United. Arsenal need at least a backup and if Chelsea lose Ake they will too. So we are in a major competition with everyone but Spurs
That is the area I am most worried about. We have this list of CB's we want and the teams you listed also desperately need them. If our board is serious about improving and being a Top 4 challenging team then they need to SPEND. Our only hope to sway these players is to keep our stars and offer them lots and lots of money.

Could be a controversial one this but if the price was right I would like to see us go in for Giroud if we keep Lukaku, not unrealistic target all things considered, he's never relied on pace so age isn't a big factor and as a player who's made quite a few sub appearances he's scored 95 goals for Arsenal in all comps since joining in 12/13 with still a few games to go this season for them. Just for comparison in that same time frame Lukaku scored 103 in all comps, 86 for us and 17 for West Brom. I reckon he'd fit Koemans system nicely too.
Arsenal are on the verge of losing Ozil and Sanchez, not sure if they would let another forward/attacking player leave

Add a striker and I'd be made up with that

Willian Jose and Schmeichel (i know some don't like Schmeichel, but i do. Willian Jose is not a Rom replacement but would be great as a 2nd striker)...

Those two plus Gylfi, Keane, and Ghezzal (on a free) would be a very solid summer. Have to keep Rom and Ross though. If there is money left for Trippier then he would be a great add.

Well we won't know who's leaving or staying til it actually happens. Still think he'd be a good acquisition for the right price and provided we kept Rom.
True we will not know until the window opens. Just don't know if he will leave either, would he be a starter here? He isn't a full time starter at Arsenal and maybe he wants that playing time.

Thats a good analysis. Charley has really kicked on this season. Walsh and Dowell are probably the two most talented lads in that under 23's but for different reasons you wonder how much either are Koeman players. If they are not involved min pre-season it's hard to see them having futures here longer term.

I can dig it, would be nice to get all of them. Getting Jordan Lukaku could get Rom to stay even though he isn't the best player but that is just my opinion
