I don't understand why a lot of players have Henrotay as a manager. Dendoncker, Tielemans, Carrasco and loads of others.

He's shady. From time to time you see him popping up in legal dossiers and he constantly offers his players to other clubs, even without their knowledge. The manager of e.g. KDB is much better.

An example: In 2013-2014 he suddenly signed Batshuayi. Without the knowledge, and against his wishes, of Batshuayi he had construed a deal with Everton; where Everton would buy Batshuayi and would loan him to RSCA for the rest of the season. Naturally this didn't go down well with the player and his club at the time (Standard; but during these years they had Duchatelet as an owner, he hates Henrotay) and he ended the contract with Henrotay who took him to court. They ended up going to FIFA, but Batshuayi still had to pay his former manager for reasons unknown (I can't find the arrest).

@Eggs @BlueToff , Dolbergs dad today announced they where splitting with their Danish agent - reports he wants to sign with SEG (big Dutch one representing depay, strootman devrij and others), also other sources are reporting that Ajax are trying to get him to sign a new contract by negotiating with his dad etc.

Interesting how it turns out, SEG aren't exactly known for keeping the players they represent in Holland for long

Interesting if true

Was a short recap because not really relevant to the topic.

Here you go: A link to the Everton-Batshuayi-Henrotay sage: http://www.7sur7.be/7s7/fr/1745/Sta...ayer-81-300-euros-a-Christophe-Henrotay.dhtml (there are many though) or http://www.nieuwsblad.be/cnt/dmf20140606_01133169 or https://www.walfoot.be/fra/news/lis/2014-05-09/batshuayi-libere-dhenrotay.

The thing is he must clearly be knowing what he's doing because he always get away with it. I don't like him.

Can't see us signing two players from Ajax. Klassen seems the more realistic one. Would be a very good signing, would massively improve the transition when we counter attack.

If we are after one of Klassen/Dolberg/Ziyech we have to get an agreement done before they play Utd in the El final. If one of them has a stormer on live tv against a "huge club" you can bet the vultures will begin to circle and suddenly you'll see in the papers [Insert top 6 club name] are set to beat Everton to the signing of [Insert name of one of the above]

I'll be vaulted for this, but I think that SF tie is still there to be lost. 4-1 looks daunting, but I;ve seen Ajax this season and they aren't all that. I think the Ajax that tuned up second leg against Schalke are the true team.

Dont rule out Lyon tomorrow night; and United will murder them in the final should they get there.

They are vunerable at the back - then again they have a VERY young defence, but they are brilliant going forward Dave and don't think Lyon have the defence to keep them out, they where absolutely torn apart in the first leg, absolutely battered.

Wouldn't bet against Mourinho in a one off final at all though, it's what he has made his reputation from - winning those one off games when the pressure is on

It'll be interesting to see if Lyon score early how they handle that situation. Lyon knocked four past Roma in this tournament so they can get at good teams at home.

First goal will be crucial.

Yeah will make it interesting, I'm planning to watch it anyway, as Ajax really are a bloody entertaining team to watch this season, Lacazette missing the first game (came on late second half not fully fit) was a huge loss for Lyon as Ajax have a good young defence but they all have mistakes in them as well due to the way they play

Everyone knows about their players whether they play well in a final or not.

Ofc they do mate, but never underestimate what one performance can do in a very high profile game, seen enough players bought seemingly entirely from 1-2 good games in a world cup over the years/

IF a couple of the Ajax players had absolutely world class games against United - then you would see interest in them rise a lot i think
