Apologies if this has already been said but this is a difficult thread to keep up with.

If United are in for Keane he will go there. They get him cheaper than anyone else due to their 25% sell on clause and he clearly loves the club. Their CB situation is also a bit of a mess as Smalling and Jones seem to be injured loads and Blind isn't really up to being one of a two.

If they don't want him then I think we've got a pretty good chance.

Didn't know about that, if thats right then he is pretty much a United player, for every 4m they pay they will get 1m back, I guess United could let us have him for 30m knowing that they will make 7.5m from it but i guess they would rather have the player then the cash

or they could be playing possum and just try and drive rivals' price up as it benefits both them and burnley

Given the financial bracket United live in, I really can't imagine them caring much about a sell on worth 7.5mil. If they want him, they'll probably get him, but it won't be because they get a few million back.
 

Hopefully we wrap up a few deals quickly.

Much easier with no international tournaments ahead.

Imagine Keane will move on quickly, same for Rooney.

Think Rooney is nailed on myself, and we will go big and try and centre half early.
