We should only let him train with the first team (and perhaps play) if he sacks whoever it is filling his head with all the over-inflated value stuff. He's obviously been told he'd walk into any CL Team, has the world's top teams desperate to sign him for £50M+ and should be getting paid 2-3 as much as he's on. Hopefully this debacle will inject a bit of reality back into the proceedings and he can get back to being a decent footballer.
